The conference will cover a broad range of topics relating to the theme, “packaging: Fit for the future”. There are 60 speakers from nine countries slated to present over the two days at the Crown Promenade Melbourne.

The packaging industry is facing many challenges, from global plastics pollution to recycling issues to transformational changes in value and supply-chain models, all resulting in negative government and consumer perceptions. These challenges require packaging companies, manufacturers, and retailers to re-think their approaches. Companies need to make changes to address the challenges of meeting global and domestic sustainable packaging and the 2025 National Packaging Targets.

Now more than ever is the time to collaborate, share ideas, success stories, and openly discuss the challenges and journeys the industry is facing and find ways to collectively work towards the same targets.
