Currie Group, the exclusive supplier of HP Indigo packaging, label and commercial print technology in Australia and New Zealand, has won the all Asia Pacific Japan HP Industrial Print Marketing Excellence Award.

The win celebrates the company’s ‘outstanding contributions to marketing innovation and its role in elevating the print industry across Australia and New Zealand’.

The accolade highlights Currie Group’s partnership with HP, which has successfully driven awareness and consideration of HP Industrial Print technology in the region.

In announcing the award HP said that through ‘strategic initiatives and collaborative efforts, Currie Group has set new benchmarks for impactful, integrated marketing in the print industry’.

Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, has appointed current deputy chair, Ming Long, to the position of chair. She replaces Kathryn Fagg, who has resigned after three years in the role.

Potato product manufacturer, Farm Frites, has selected a site in Dooen in Victoria’s Wimmera district for its first Australian production facility. The company’s Australian business was founded in 2016 and supplies the food service industry and quick service restaurants.
