In a bid to innovate the biscuit aisle, Arnott’s has collaborated with Boxer & Co. to introduce Treatles, a new line of bite-sized treats. The packaging design, created by Boxer & Co., is aimed at bringing a sense of lightness and playfulness to the brand.

The design for Treatles features three layers that mirror the product’s characteristics: a real chocolate coating, a delicate and crispy inner shell, and a velvety soft centre.

The design makes each flavour easily distinguishable while keeping a cohesive brand identity.

Gwen Blake, managing director of Boxer & Co., described the design as capturing “the essence of fun with a tongue-in-cheek tone,” appealing to both young and old chocolate enthusiasts.

Drawing inspiration from emerging snack trends, the design architecture ensures that the different flavours are easily distinguishable while maintaining a cohesive brand identity.

This visual identity of Treatles is both playful and modern, reflecting the brand’s goal of offering a more permissive threat option.

Treatles are targeted at consumers seeking frequent indulgence without the heaviness of traditional confectionery. The product taps into the growing bite-sized segment, providing a guilt-free option that prioritises taste and flavour.

Blake added that Treatles are designed for “those seeking a satisfying sweet craving,” making them perfect for any occasion.
