Sydney-based Campos Coffee has introduced a fresh new look with the redesign of its product packaging, with the new Superior blend packaging emulating Campos Coffee’s green takeaway cup.

“This is the packaging redesign we have been looking forward to for many years now – what we have here is literally years in the making and we could not be more excited,” says Will Young, Campos founder.

“From dark chocolate to caramel to butterscotch, all our coffees deliver sweetness in their own way, and this is only brought about through sourcing quality beans and then developing the sugars through expert roasting.

“We also enjoyed adding a nod to the roasting degree, which ranges from Scandinavian to Australian to Southern Italian.

“Australian coffee has its own roast style and we are proud to list our roast style and we are proud to list our Superior Blend as a distinctively Australian roast shaped by this great coffee culture we wake up to every morning.”

Campos Coffee has also extended the fresh new design across its full range of Campos Blends and Single Origins coffees to create a unified look, which includes useful product information to help everyone the best way to enjoy their products.

A national network for young grape and wine professionals has been launched, set to foster the next generation of winemakers, viticulturists, cellar door staff, wine judges and other roles in Australia’s wine sector.

A new bill was introduced to Parliament on 19 November, which offers a framework for regulating the sale or importation of organic goods in Australia, and stronger opportunities for exporting organic products.

The Senate Economics Committee has rejected the Food Donations Bill that proposed a tax offset for companies donating excess food to food relief agencies rather than dumping it. While the bill had the potential to deliver the equivalent of 100 million meals to food relief organisations, the committee said it had “serious concerns” including the bill’s “generous” tax concessions. Food relief agencies and social welfare organisations have questioned the committee’s decision to reject the bill outright rather than make recommendations for amendments.
