Chobani has teamed up with Herrods, PakPot and Van Dyke for the packaging of its limited edition Unicorn Dream Flip yoghurt, with six different unicorn characters featured as the hero image across each pack.
Bright, pastel colours are used across the packaging to create a “shareworthy product” for consumers to drive engagement with the collectable foil characters.
Chobani worked with Melbourne-based Herrods for the labels, and Sydney-based Van Dyke Press for the lidding foils, while the product is packed in tubs moulded by Adelaide’s PakPot.
“Last Halloween, we launched our first ever alternating foil, Pumpkin Pie Flip. With six spooky jack-o-lantern faces, the product flew off the shelves. We wanted to extend this strategy to other characters and flavours in the Chobani universe,” Chobani Australia managing director Lyn Radford told PKN.
“Having multiple designs on shelf catches shopper’s eyes, drives excitement with shoppers and encourages collecting.”
The product aims to tap into the better-for-you category as an alternative snack option for both kids and families.
“This product is an ideal option with no preservatives, artificial colours or flavours,” said the Chobani Radford.
“Compared with the other unicorn-flavoured snacks out there, Unicorn Flip is a great option.”
The limited edition Chobani Unicorn Flip will be available in stores from 27 July.
