‘The Big O’ is the catchy name for the latest sports drink from Frucor Beverages.

Frucor partnered with Sydney agency Saltmine Design Group to design the label and launch the drink under the Maximus brand.

Saltmine had already helped create the brand, which launched in 2013, and this year both companies could see an opportunity to stimulate the category with a new variant.

‘The Big O’ contains 20 per cent orange juice, making it suitable for mornings, and is reportedly the only sports drink on the market made with juice.

The pack design highlights the real juice content by including an orange peel texture and a clear on-pack claim.
