Dolcelicious was born out of the James Cropper's work with brands using its Tailor Made service, which gives retail brand owners a choice of options to create a unique paper with variables ranging from the individual fibres used to the ways they’re engineered, coloured, converted and embossed.

Richard Burnett, market development manager at James Cropper, said: “We’ve been working on tailor-made solutions for a variety of brands within the food industry for some time and realised there is a growing demand for high-quality coloured papers in this sector.

“There’s a huge appetite to create something unique that stands out in this competitive industry, whether it’s high-end chocolatiers or speciality tea and coffee suppliers. After all, the first bite is with the eye!”

Dolcelicious comes in 11 eye-catching colours, including Lemon Drizzle, Liquorice, Silver Spoon and Kiwi Fizz, with a variety of hues  – from organic, subtle and natural to glamorous, rich and bold.

The paper can also be 'tailored' using embossing patterns to develop distinctive packaging and so create a richer brand experience.
