Conga Foods has released an olive oil range in packaging designed to sit proudly on any benchtop.
The range has been released under the Moro brand, with new flavour infusions of chilli, garlic, pesto and balsamic.
Conga Foods marketing and innovation manager Kristen Moxey said the company had kept a particular focus on the packaging design, which was created by the company's in-house design team.
"We wanted to ensure the look of the label was elegant enough for any kitchen bench," she said.
The labels were created by Conga Foods graphic designers Amy Biggs and Olga Stergiou, who were inspired by the authentic flavours chosen for each infusion.
“We really wanted something rustic and authentic," said Biggs.
“The illustrations we selected are unlike anything currently in this category – they really stand out.
“They have a fresh, contemporary feel, while still remaining authentic to the longstanding heritage of the brand.
"It’s the care and attention to detail in the illustration that conveys the quality of the product.
“Consumers are buying into the flavour adventure and using it as a key ingredient to a special dish or moment with family and friends.
"We wanted our packaging to reflect this."
The new product was developed following consumer research into pantry preferences.
"We landed on four variants that we think deliver on the flavour trends which are now rising in popularity," Kristen Moxey said.
“Home cooks are increasingly looking for convenient ways to add flavour to food, and olive oil, as a pantry staple, represents a great opportunity to meet this growing need.”
Made with 100 per cent Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and available in a 250ml bottle, Moro Infusions products can be used for dipping, drizzling or cooking.
