Melbourne design agency Watts Design was asked to design a modern look for pork crackling brand Crackle & Co.

With the goal of finding the vision of the brand and focusing on its points of difference, it emphasised the heritage aspect of natural farm products in the design.

Crackle & Co is a family-owned business which works directly with local suppliers to produce its all-natural snack.

Watts Design created a logo with a script font to reflect the brand's farm-style appeal while engaging consumers with a contemporary look and feel.

"We based it on a beer label and ribbon to convey the ideas of ‘great with beer’ and ‘first class product’," Watts said.

"Earthy tones and a hessian background combine to project a fresh, warm country feel."
