Result Group, a longstanding Leibinger partner, will be showcasing the Leibeinger IQJET printer on its booth at APPEX, as a part of the group’s Sustainability Corner on Stand E030.
Leibinger says that optimal marking of environmentally friendly packaging plays an important role for its customers. The company also sets a statement with its IQJET coding and marking system and says it uses durable and eco-friendly materials in the production process.
“Leibinger products are meticulously crafted with sustainability in mind, offering a dual benefit of environmental stewardship and cost-effectiveness for our customers. By utilizing durable and eco-friendly materials, we ensure that our products not only minimize environmental impact but also stand the test of time,” said CCO of Leibeinger, Christophe Lopez.
“Through vertical integration, we maintain control over sustainability factors, minimising unnecessary transport and maximising efficiency. Our commitment to longevity means that components are designed for durability, reducing the need for replacements. The IQJET exemplifies this ethos with its five-year maintenance-free operation, significantly reduced solvent and power consumption, and minimal ink wastage – embodying our dedication to sustainability without sacrificing performance.”
Michael Dossor, general manager at Result Group, said, “We have been a key player in supporting companies in the region for several years on the vital role that packaging plays in creating a circular economy.
Through our partnerships with key organisations in this space, we are proud of how much Result Group has contributed to educating the industry on topics such as Sustainable Packaging, Save Food Packaging and Active & Intelligent Packaging.”
Initiatives such as End Food Waste Australia's mission to halve food waste by 2030 and APCO's efforts to enhance packaging design standards will also be showcased in the Sustainability Corner. GS1 Australia will be providing insights into traceability and supply chain efficiency, while the AIP will be sharing its expertise in sustainable packaging design.
