PepsiCo's Doritos brand has crossed into the biscuit category with a new product called Doritos Crackers.

The corn chip brand is now playing in the 'bite-sized crackers' space with sleek black boxes of biscuits that are oven-baked rather than fried.

The cartons, which were designed by Periscope and AKA, feature embossing and raised edges around the logo and biscuit imagery.

The design bring a modern edge to the category, with millennials its target audience.

The new flavours are: Cheese Supreme, Mexicana, Texan BBQ, and Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream. RRP for each pack is $3.49.
