About The Role
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the key leadership position at TNA, reporting directly to the Managing Director/Co-owner. This role is responsible for driving the company’s strategic growth, fostering innovation, and ensuring that TNA remains at the forefront of technology-driven solutions for the packaging and processing industry.
As CEO, you will lead a global business spanning 30+ countries, working closely with customers, sales teams, and manufacturing partners worldwide. Your focus will be on developing breakthrough technologies, delivering customer-centric solutions, and scaling the business in a way that reinforces TNA’s reputation for excellence and innovation.
Success in this role will require a strategic and hands-on leadership approach, leading our market, people, and product growth and development to ensure continued industry leadership and long-term success.
This role is based in Sydney, Australia, with extensive international travel required.
Key Responsibilities
As CEO, you will be responsible for driving TNA’s global vision, innovation, and growth. Your leadership will shape the company’s market position, people, and products while ensuring financial success and a culture of continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Visionary Leadership – Define and execute a clear strategic direction that drives sustainable, profitable growth while embedding TNA’s Vision, Mission, and Values into the global culture.
• Market and Business Strategy – Develop and implement strategies that expand market share, enhance technological capabilities, and strengthen TNA’s leadership in packaging and processing solutions.
• Operational and Financial Oversight – Work with the Executive Leadership Team to oversee global operations, business activities, financial performance, and investments, ensuring long-term success and scalability.
• Innovation and Technology Development – Drive continuous product innovation and technical advancements to exceed evolving customer and industry demands.
• Customer-Centric Growth – Build deep, value-driven relationships with customers, ensuring that TNA remains a trusted solutions provider by understanding and addressing their needs.
• High-Performance Culture – Lead, mentor, and empower executive teams to drive performance, accountability, and collaboration across global functions.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Serve as the company’s public face, influencing and fostering strong partnerships with customers, investors, business partners, and industry leaders.
• Compliance and Governance – Ensure that company policies and legal guidelines are communicated, understood, and upheld at every level of the organization.
• Problem-Solving and Risk Management – Anticipate market challenges, develop proactive solutions, and navigate complex business environments with agility and foresight.
Qualifications
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• A Business, Engineering, or Finance Degree (Mechanical Engineering is an advantage).
• Additional executive education (e.g., MBA, leadership training) is desirable.
Experience & Industry Knowledge
• Proven executive leadership experience (minimum 10 years in a senior leadership role) in a technology-driven manufacturing or capital equipment business.
• Experience managing global operations across multiple sites and countries.
• Strong background in sales and operations management, with a track record of delivering growth and profitability.
• Financial and budget management expertise with a deep understanding of P&L responsibilities.
• Experience working in a private, family-owned enterprise is an advantage.
• Deep knowledge of the packaging, processing, or automation industries is highly desirable.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively internationally.
