The Shanghai World of Packaging (swop) will take place from 18 to 20 November 2024 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Organised by Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) and Adsale Exhibition Services, swop is recognised as China’s leading trade fair for packaging production, materials, and printing.

This annual event is set to highlight the latest advancements in packaging machinery, equipment, innovative materials, and advanced technology.

The swop 2024 expo will feature over 900 exhibitors across 65,000 square metres of exhibition space, attracting more than 35,000 trade visitors.

In 2023, high-profile brands such as Mars, Heinz, Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Starbucks, Nestle, Philips, Alibaba, Häagen-Dazs, Danone, Pepsi, Bayer, L'Oréal, Dior, Nivea, Avon, P&G, L'Occitane, Chanel, Unilever, and Estée Lauder attended swop, with 88 per cent of the 32,000 attendees recorded as 'playing a crucial role in the decision-making process' at their respective companies.

In addition to the regular stand offers, this year there is also a new, simple, all-inclusive package. Exhibitors can enjoy all the exclusive benefits of a worry-free package at the “international pavilion”, allowing them to focus solely on their trade fair presence.

Participants in the international pavilion will receive a high-quality complete trade fair package, including stand construction, carpet, furniture, and electricity. They will also benefit from the reservation of shared space in a preferred location, use of the international pavilion “meeting point” with meeting facilities and hospitality, and competent support from the trade fair team during preparation and on site.
