At Booth 656, Foodmach is demonstrating Heuft’s up to the minute technology that monitors safety and quality during and after packaging.

The HEUFT eXaminer XB end of line inspector continuously monitors the safety and quality of solid food in the single-lane transport section. It is commonly used for products such as chocolate bars, chocolates, cheese and sliced bread.

The top-down X-ray strobe checks up to 1,000 products per minute for foreign objects, completeness and integrity. It can detect foreign objects made of metal, glass, PTFE and other plastics in packaged or unpackaged solid food and it checks its own detection performance by means of regular self-tests during running production.

Its advantages include:

  • It uses an unequalled low radiation dose
  • Motion blurs are minimised due to extremely short exposure times
  • The detection performance is not restricted by the product´s own signal or metal packaging components
  • It operates with the highest sensitivity due to HEUFT reflexx technology
  • HEUFT nbx filter makes a clear distinction between real safety risks and harmless product and packaging structures for the minimum false rejection rate
  • It has a compact and hygiene-friendly construction
  • Its high degree of operating convenience is due to the multilingual HEUFT PILOTgraphical user interface
  •

The new HEUFT prime makes checking full containers emarkably easy.

It inspects the fill level, checks the presence, position and tightness of closures, detects unlabelled full containers, burst bottles and serial faults and consistently rejects faulty products. The compact full container check combines different, freely selectable modules and technologies with a high degree of automation and the revolutionary new audiovisual HEUFT NaVi user guidance.  It guides the respective user step by step through all the functions which are relevant to him and provides him with audiovisual support at the same time.

Its advantages include:

  • A self-explanatory HEUFT NaVi user guidance with personalised access levels
  • A clear touchscreen user interface concentrating on the essentials
  • Integrated auxiliary tools
  • Audiovisual assistance during brand changes, sampling and maintenance work
  • A high degree of automation
  • It is network and WLAN compatible
  • HEUFT ISI interface technology requires a minimum amount of wiring when installing and retrofitting

Heuft is also demonstrating its own is Robowizard software developed to streamline the production process. The new touch screen interface allows users to update their palletising system to handle new SKU’s, with a simple update of the pack size.
