Italy’s SIPA has released a new two-stage SFL WM linear blow moulder, designed for wide mouth bottles and containers up to 10 litre capacity.

Available in two configurations  –  the SFL WM Fast for speed and the SFL WM Flex for flexibility and quick changeover  – the fully electric, low maintenance machines have low energy consumption achieved with high re-heating efficiency and an air recovery system with reduced blow air consumption and a corresponding smaller compressor size requirement.

The SFL WM Fast can produce containers with neck diameters up to 95mm, and capacities up to 3 litres, with output rates of up to 6,000 containers per hour.

The SFL WM Flex is intended for customers who change their containers more frequently. It holds up to four cavities and can make containers of up to 10 litres with neck sizes up to 130mm.  Mould changeovers take less than 20 minutes and neck changeovers take only 40 minutes.

SIPA is represented in Oceania by HBM Plastics & Packaging Technologies.
