Bundaberg Rum pre-released a limited edition bottle commemorating the 2015 Premiers, the North Queensland Cowboys, on the weekend.

The striking bottle was made available on the eve of the all-Queensland trial game of the 2016 NRL season at Bundaberg’s Salter Oval.

The rum brand is the official partner of the 2015 Grand Final rematch between the North Queensland Cowboys and the Brisbane Broncos.

The bottles were sold to fans at the Bundaberg Distillery Bondstore.

They will also be available to purchase from retailers when the official 2016 NRL season kicks off in March.

The game will be a highlight for Salter Oval and one of the biggest in the town’s history, with almost 7000 tickets sold for the match.
