ProPak Asia 2020 is to take place on 20-23 October at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre in Thailand, according to an official letter from event organiser Informa Markets.

Originally slated to take place on 17-20 June, the biggest processing and packaging trade exhibition in Asia was postponed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The ProPak Asia show will feature 65,000 square metres in nine halls, with more than 2300 exhibiting companies from 50 countries.

Informa’s official letter said the decision on new dates was made following “extensive consultation” with relevant authorities and stakeholders.

“We believe these new dates will allow more time for normality and confidence to return to the marketplace, ease travel restrictions, and provide better, all-round conditions for exhibitors and visitors to engage,” the letter reads.

“The ProPak Asia team will reach out to all participants regarding detailed arrangements in due course.”
