Avery Dennison has launched a video series on sustainable paper sourcing to help label converters and brand owners reach their sustainability goals.

In the Ask the Experts series, the company shares insights into global trends and drivers, discusses collaboration across the supply chain, and examines next steps for the pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) industry to help the environment.

Avery Dennison has been quite vocal about its sustainability goals, and wants to help others develop their own action plans. 

The company worked with the Forest Stewardship Council to produce the video series, which can be viewed here.

The University of Sydney and Peking University have launched a Joint Centre for Food Security and Sustainable Agricultural Development, which will support research into improving the sustainability and security of food systems in Australia and China.

Sydney-based biotech company, All G, has secured regulatory approval in China to sell recombinant (made from microbes, not cows) lactoferrin. CEO Jan Pacas says All G is the first company in the world to receive the approval, and recombinant human lactoferrin is “next in line”.
