These cutting systems, available in sizes from 80cm to 225cm, offer modular and expandable designs to cater to various printing needs, including packaging, labels and commercial print. Currie Group has positioned the range as a complement to its existing finishing equipment, for both digital and traditional applications.

Rob Mesaros, CEO at Currie Group, said, “We are delighted to be partnering with baumannperfecta to bring this range of cutting solutions to the Australian and New Zealand markets. The baumannperfecta company has a longstanding reputation for precision and robust, reliable, equipment. Its innovation in cutting and finishing solutions offers print service providers future-proof technology.”

This representation is effective immediately, and Currie Group has already secured its first sale in Australia.

Olaf Gerber, sales manager at baumannperfecta, underscored the importance of local partnerships in succeeding within regional markets. “You can only be successful in a market with a strong local partner. This collaboration will allow both companies to combine their strengths and offer customers in the region a variety of cutting and peripheral solutions.”

Gerber also said that Currie Group’s experience in the Australian and New Zealand markets makes the partnership a promising combination, aimed at delivering customised solutions that meet specific customer needs.

The baumannperfecta business is the result of the merger five years ago of German print finishing systems manufacturers baumannwohlenberg and Perfecta into one brand, owned by the Baumann Group.
