In shades of pink and an abundance of floral, Cadbury has released two limited edition Roses packs in time for Mother’s Day, partnering with Australian illustrator Megan Hess for the packaging design.

Hess is renowned for her fashion artistry internationally and features her signature look on the Roses packs, with a delicate illustration of a woman in deep pink included on both designs.

Taking a modern twist on the traditional Roses box, Hess said she was thrilled to be partnering with Cadbury to celebrate the important women in her life for Mother’s Day.

“I am excited to be able to share my illustrations with Australian women through Cadbury Roses and make this classic gift even more special,” said Hess.

“Being a mother, I understand how important it is to share these special moments with your loved ones.”

The limited edition pack features all the Roses classic flavours including Turkish delight, hazelnut swirl, caramel deluxe, classic milk and dark mocha nougat.

The Cadbury Roses release for Mother’s Day is available in 450g boxes and can be found in all major confectionery retailers across Australia.

More than 80 distillers from across New South Wales and the ACT will meet in Sydney on 25 November for the inaugural NSW & ACT Distillers Conference, where the industry will formally launch Spirits NSW.

The federal government has announced the inaugural members of the National Food Council, the first step in developing its national food security strategy, Feeding Australia. The council includes representatives from across the food system and will play an advisory role to the Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry minister.

Queensland foodservice wholesaler Prime Cut Meats has been acquired by Andrews Meat Industries (AMI), the family-managed business that forms part of JBS Australia. The move expands AMI’s protein supply capabilities in Queensland and northern New South Wales.
