With an impressive speaker line-up confirmed, ecoporium by Ball & Doggett, the sustainability platform created by Australia’s leading print and packaging materials and equipment supplier, is set to deliver an industry-first ‘live experience’ at APPEX 2024.

Aimed at driving education and sharing expert insights from across the supply chain that impacts delivery of sustainable packaging into the industry, the ecoporium stand will be a must-visit for industry decision makers and decision influencers keen to learn more about sustainable packaging design and materials.

“ecoporium by Ball & Doggett is a conduit for connection, collaboration and conversation,” said Zaidee Jackson, the driving force behind the award-winning platform, and the curator of the content programme that will run on the stand over the four-day APPEX event from 12-15 March at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Some of the expert speakers already lined up are leaders in their respective fields, spanning design, printing and converting, and manufacturing.

Jackson, who is the national BDM Sustainable Packaging at Ball & Doggett, said, “This is the industry’s opportunity to connect with speakers from both international and domestic markets and immerse yourself in content. As the Australian packaging industry navigates a period of unprecedented change, these conversations are more relevant than ever.”

Speakers already confirmed in the line-up include Amber Bonney, Edison Agency; Asaf Weiss, Vacupak; Brett Keen, Whakatāne Mill, New Zealand; James Walker, Metsa Group; Mariella Menato, Denomination;  Rhys Gorgol, The Company You Keep; Craig Walmsley and Olivia West, HP; Rita Sellars, pH factor; and Renata Daudt, Awen Consulting; along with MCC Label.

“We invite industry to join us to meet, learn and experience insights from speakers that are driving decisions while creating opportunity for brands, industry and consumers,” Jackson said.

ecoporium was first launched in June this year, and went on to earn Ball & Doggett the APCO 2023 Industry Sector Award in the Packaging Manufacturer & Supplier category, announced this November.

At APPEX 2024, Ball & Doggett will also display its broad labels and packaging product portfolio on stand, where visitors will be able to see labels and packaging materials first-hand and obtain expert advice on sustainable applications from Ball & Doggett’s team of specialists.
