The Van Dyke Press, exhibiting on Stand F240 at AUSPACK, is a sustainable packaging company leading Australia in in-mould labels (IML) and die cut heat sealable lidding.
In an environment where the first question asked by customers is “Are your products recyclable?”, the Van Dyke Press says it is ahead of the game.
All of its products are recyclable and the company is working closely with its customers and suppliers to ensure that the products it supplies are compliant with APCO targets and supermarket requirements.
The Van Dyke Press introduced IML labels to the Australian market 30 years ago and have been spruiking the recyclability benefits ever since. Whether it be PP labels moulded onto PP cups and lids, or PE labels moulded onto HDPE bottles, the IML process offers recyclability, efficiency of production and high-end decoration every time. IML labels allow all of pack decoration and can be printed onto white, clear or metallic films.
One of its happy customers has just implemented in-mould labels and aluminium heat seals to their packaging solutions and claimed to “have doubled its capacity overnight”.
“As a market leader in die cut and reel fed lidding, we can offer whatever lidding construction you need for your application,” the company said.
“Our lidding can be printed in up to eight colours and supplied in rolls or die cut to size. Our aluminium die cut lids proudly wear an Australian Recycling logo so that your products can comply to recycling targets today.”
As a major supplier to the FMCG industry, and to ensure product safety and quality, The Van Dyke Press facilities are BSI food safety accredited with HACCP and quality control systems.
