Fibre King, Australian owned manufacturer of end-of-line packaging machinery, has expanded its operations in the Asia-Pacific region with the recent opening of a new office facility in New Zealand.

The facility is located in Dunedin and will be the company's first office in the country. Fibre King says the move follows the company's continued success in the region where it aims to strengthen support for new and existing customers.

According to Fibre King CEO James Windsor, the decision to open an office in New Zealand was driven by the increasing demand for end-of-line packaging machinery in the country.

"New Zealand has a vibrant food and beverage industry, which is growing rapidly, and we see a significant opportunity to support our customers in the region with our advanced packaging solutions," Windsor said. "We are confident that our solutions will help New Zealand manufacturers increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. We are also committed to providing our customers with the best possible service and support, and we believe that our new office in Dunedin will help us achieve this goal."

Lee Evans has joined the company as the territory manager to lead the new office facility, responsible for overseeing Fibre King's operations in the region, including sales, service, and support. Evans brings over 20 years' experience across various industries, including aviation, logistics, wastewater treatment, FMCG, and construction. He has a strong background in engineering and a particular focus on value engineering, innovation, cost management, and technical excellence in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls.

"We are thrilled to have Lee on board as the Territory Manager to head our new office facility in New Zealand. His experience and leadership will be instrumental in helping us deliver advanced end of line packaging solutions to our customers and drive growth in the region," Windsor said.

The establishment of Fibre King's new office facility in New Zealand is expected to strengthen the company's presence in the Asia-Pacific region, building on its manufacturing facility in Thailand and head office located in Brisbane, Australia. With this expansion, Fibre King believes it will be well-positioned to provide service and support to its customers throughout the region, while also offering innovative end-of-line packaging solutions that meet the evolving needs of the FMCG market.

Fibre King will be exhibiting at the Foodtech Packtech Trade Show held in Auckland, New Zealand in September.
