Label and package printing suppliers will converge on the Labelexpo Americas show as part of a feature area called The Linerless Trail.

Held in Rosemont, Illinois from 13-15 September as part of the show, the Linerless Trail aims to give printers and converters an insight into how linerless labels can result in “reduced costs, less waste and improved sustainability across the supply chain”, according to organisers.

Suppliers taking part include Appvion, Bostik, Evonik, Henkel Corporation, Innovia Films, Maan Engineering, Max International Converters, MPS, NAStar and Ravenwood Packaging.

Linerless labels are pre-printed pressure-sensitive labels without the traditional release coating and liner format that stops it from sticking to other labels.

Showing their labelling technology, Trail participants will highlight the commercial benefits of adopting and offering a linerless capability to customers through live demonstrations.
