Equipment pooling provider Loscam has moved into a new 4,075sqm warehouse facility in Brisbane.

The warehouse is part of the Metroplex Westgate business district, which is now seeing a further $17.5 million of construction activity underway throughout the development.

Loscam operates in 12 regions throughout the Asia Pacific, and has leased the warehouse on a 15-year term.

Its new facility includes 200sqm of office space which can accommodate 45 staff, and it will allow the company to significantly increase its equipment wash and repair capacity in line with the company's projections for future growth.

The warehouse is located on a 2.3 hectare site in the Metroplex South precinct, which is now fully serviced and has direct access to the newly upgraded section of Boundary Road and the Ipswich, Centenary and Logan Motorways.

Metroplex Westgate will ultimately comprise 250,000sqm of industry space in Wacol, 15 kilometres west of the Brisbane CBD.
