Global protective packaging company Storopack has aquired its Australian sales partner Intellipack.

Based in Sydney's Seven Hills, Intellipack has had ongoing success selling the Storopack AIRplus air cushion system and PAPERplus paper padding system in Australia and New Zealand.

The company consults on integrated packaging systems and handles design and implementation.

In 2015, Intellipack generated preliminary sales of $4 million.

Intellipack will be renamed Storopack Australia, and its corporate design converted to Storopack's.

Founder and managing partner Peter Blakeley will continue to be responsible for business operations in Australia and New Zealand and will work on a smooth integration into the Storopack Group.

Storopack Asia-Pacific president Frank Imkamp says the acquisition is “another milestone in extending our market presence in the Asia-Pacific area”.

Storopack is organised into the two business areas of moulding and packaging.
