Revibes Co, a new reusable packaging brand, has teamed up with waste management company Clean Vibes to launch packaging solutions for stadiums, venues, festivals, and airlines at the cost of single-use plastic.
Set to launch on 15 November 2024, the partnership aims to make sustainable packaging accessible and affordable, aligning with anticipated government regulations on plastic waste reduction.

We offer an affordable solution to the single-use waste issue for food and beverages, assisting businesses to get ahead of these changes to the laws, while also offering an affordable, consumer-friendly, and sustainable option.”
Revibes Co’s launch aligns with recommendations from the NSW Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to reduce plastic waste. According to the EPA’s recent NSW Plastics: The Way Forward report, which highlights takeaway packaging as a significant waste concern, hospitality venues will be required to accept reusable cups by 2027. Trials of reusable cups in government facilities are also underway.
With annual live sports event attendance in Australia reaching 40-50 million people, and an estimated 40 to 100 million single-use cups used across events, Revibes Co sees substantial potential for reducing waste. “It takes much more than a reusable cup; it takes years of data and expertise in washing and cleaning logistics, and this is what we have,” said Charewicz, noting the company’s investment in advanced washing systems for reusable packaging.
Revibes Co is partnered with Clean Vibes, a waste management company founded by Andrew Macarthur, which will manage logistics for on-ground operations, while Revibes Co oversees the washing process at its Silverwater, NSW facility. Macarthur, also known for founding City Return & Earn, brings extensive experience in event waste management and sustainability to the collaboration.
Charewicz, originally from Adelaide, sees Revibes Co as a scalable model that aims to make reusables mainstream. “Our goal is to make reusables the new normal by providing solutions at a price point so compelling, the answer will always be yes,” he said.
The company’s strategy is to facilitate a transition from single-use to reusables with solutions that align with upcoming regulatory changes and industry needs, offering cost-efficient alternatives that support both sustainability and operational budgets.
