PKN is delighted to reveal the judging panel for the 2025 Women in Packaging Awards, bringing together an esteemed group of industry leaders who will lend their expertise to recognise and celebrate outstanding female talent across Australia’s packaging value chain.

Now in its second year, the PKN Women in Packaging Awards program was established to spotlight the remarkable achievements of women working across the spectrum of packaging disciplines – from design and innovation, to manufacturing, packaging technology, communications and marketing, and sustainability leadership.

This year’s judging panel comprises respected professionals from across the industry, each bringing a unique perspective and a shared passion for excellence. Their involvement underscores the value of peer recognition and the importance of celebrating women who are leading by example and inspiring others along the way.

The 2025 panel includes:
Nerida Kelton, executive director of Australasian Institute of Packaging (AIP) and winner of the inaugural Hall of Fame Award in 2024. AIP is PKN’s Association Partner for the awards and allied Women in Packaging programs.
Louise Weine, CEO of National Association of Women in Operations (NAWO), the Advocacy Partner for the awards.
Rosanne Jessop, MD of Pilz Automation ANZ and vice chair of the Australian Processing & Packaging Machinery Association (APPMA).
Sandra Dal Maso, Head of Packaging Transformation at the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO)
Amber Bonney, Founder and CEO of Edison Agency, a finalist in the 2024 Women in Packaging Awards
Pippa Corry, Founder of philo & Co and winner of the 2024 PKN Women in Packaging Design & Branding Visionary Award in 2024
Jessica Ansell, Head of Marketing at The Perfume Oil Company, winner of the 2024 Women in Packaging Communications & Marketing Excellence Award (in her role at Close the Loop)

Judges will evaluate nominees across seven award categories, with criteria including leadership, innovation, influence, sustainability impact, and career achievement.

Finalists will be announced in May, and the winners will be revealed at a gala awards luncheon in Sydney on 27 June, which will also serve as a premier networking event for professionals across the packaging industry.

As the packaging sector continues to evolve, the PKN Women in Packaging Awards shine a light on those who are not only excelling in their roles but also advancing the industry through their contributions, vision and determination.
